# Layout in COHO

Where your screens appear inside COHO, and how wide they can be.

| Where | Width | Design for |
|---|---|---|
| Quick view (side) | 360px to 480px | One column. Few table columns, or a summary list. |
| Modal | Up to about 960px | Two columns at most. |
| Full app page | The whole content area | Normal page layout, max reading width about 72 characters. |

COHO draws the frame, the title bar and the close control around your screen. Start your screen with a [page header](../../components/page-header/), and keep `at-app` padding (16px) as the outer margin.
