# Accessibility

What every Atrium screen must get right for keyboard, screen reader and low-vision users.

The components pass WCAG 2.2 AA when used as shown. The checks below are what reviewers look for.

| Contrast | Use the colour tokens; every text pair is 4.5:1 or more |
| Labels | Every input has a visible label linked with for / id |
| Errors | Message beside the field, `aria-invalid` and `aria-describedby` |
| Keyboard | Everything works with Tab, Enter, Space and Escape |
| Focus | The 3px focus outline is never removed |
| Colour | Status is always said in words, not only shown in colour |
| Motion | Spinners and skeletons stop when reduced motion is on |
| Structure | One h1, headings in order, real buttons and links |
